KD Searching for a Job

Krista Akason is a Kappa Delta at the University of Illinois graduating in May with a degree in Marketing. She is bubbly and energetic with a passion for pop culture, fashion and sports. She is looking to move to NYC and is searching for a job to put her Marketing degree to good use. She is extremely interested in digital media, media planning and advertising sales. She has had internships with NBC Universal and the Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.

Membership Dues

Exciting things are coming! Please note the membership dues will now be $25 and $20 for first year alumna. Dues are used to pay for the website, help philanthropies, assist local collegiate chapters, and pay for Kappa Delta National Dues. Interested in Joining NYC's Annual Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE)?

Volunteers are need on January 25^th from 10:30 pm – 4:00am to canvass parks, subways and other public spaces to count the number of people living unsheltered in the city

Just one night of your time will help us collect vital information that is used by outreach teams to help homeless people leave the streets for a better life. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Kira.zmuda@gmail.com and a TEAM can be created.

Interested in getting more involved in 2010? Interested in women’s issues? If you answered yes to either question, please join others like you at UNIFEM’s Young Professionals Information Night. UNIFEM is the United Nations’ Development Fund for Women and the NY Metro Chapter is looking for members and volunteers alike to join our amazing non-profit organization.
